We had so much fun shooting Ken and Melissa’s Mint Springs Farm wedding. It was such a beautiful day as well. Seeing couples so obviously in love interact throughout the day while we shoot them always makes us feel so satisfied and happy in being able to do what we do. Ken and Melissa, you guys were great. You were so easygoing and such a joy to work with. Thank you guys so much for choosing us to capture your day. We wish you guys the best in your future together.
Being able to be a part of James and Nina’s special day was so much fun for Greg and I. Actually, I don’t know if the word “fun” really does it justice. This is one of those couples that I wish everybody could meet/know. The joy that they have when they’re together is absolutely infectious. They are the kind of people that you just want to be around. The whole day was filled with laughing and smiling and having a great time, which is what a wedding day should be. If a wedding is to show your love and commitment to each other in front of your closest friends and family, essentially putting on display the bride and groom’s love then Mint Springs Farm framed it perfectly. This venue is breathtaking and always creates a smooth flowing day for all involved.
James and Nina, thank you guys so much for asking us to capture your special day. We feel so privileged to be able to do so. We hope that what we provide the bride and groom after it’s all said and done is much more than images to look at, rather, on top of being photographs, we hope they are triggers of many great memories and feelings that one can relive each time they look at a particular photo. Greg and I wish you all the best!!!
My husband and I have shot a lot of weddings together – some really hot, some really cold – but the weather on the day Greg and Lauren got married was absolutely perfect. It was fitting though. They deserve the best – from the weather to the stunning Mint Springs Farm venue, it was such an amazing day. This couple is so sweet and we had so much fun with them on their wedding day.
Greg and Lauren, thank you both for sharing your day with us! You guys are awesome!
It’s always a privilege to shoot someone’s wedding. We’re able to get to know a little bit more about them, talk with their families and closest friends, and watch them interact on one of the most important days of their lives. The first half of the day the bride is off getting pampered and getting ready for that moment she first sees her man, and the groom is….kinda doing the same…….he puts on his suit then waits for his bride (for hours) while watching football or something manly like that Anyway, once they finally see each other everything clicks. That’s how it was with Brad and Kristy. Seeing them look at each other, smile, laugh, hug, kiss, etc…it was just right. And Mint Springs Farm turned on a stunning sunset once again!
Thank you guys for inviting us to share in your special day!!
My husband and I feel very fortunate to be able to do what we do. It’s always fun because we come across many different kinds of people and each carry a unique love story that only they share together. Laurie is from the US while Sakis is from Greece, yet life found a way to bring them together. I always love hearing these kinds of love stories because I met my husband overseas in Australia and brought him back to the US. As you will see, Laurie looked absolutely beautiful on her special day at Mint Springs Farm. Sakis’s reaction and the look in his eyes when she walked down the aisle said it all. Sakis cleans up quite nicely too, may I add It was so fun to celebrate with them all day and see them connect – you could see it in their eyes when they would look at each other.
Thank you guys so much for letting us be a part of your day!
And a big shoutout to the awesome Dallas from Dallas Wilson Video Productions! Can’t wait to see the video. Always a pleasure working with you!
CS Lewis once said concerning today’s obsession with being ‘grown up’:
“When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”
When I first met Lauren at Mint Springs Farm in the bridal suite I witnessed a grown up with a child-like excitement for what was coming next. She made no apologies for her excitement. She was absolutely full of life and came across as such a genuine person through and through. Then I met Marcelo – I held my hand out to shake his hand and he stretched out his arms and said “Oh come on…we can hug!” These 2 people were made for each other. Their chemistry was undeniable and it was touching to see. They were so easygoing and an absolute joy to work with.
Marcelo and Lauren,
Thank you guys so much for inviting us in on one of the most important days of your lives. Never lose that excitement and love for life that you 2 have when you’re together. We hope to catch up with you guys sometime in the near future in San Fran.
Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Marcelo and Lauren!
Lauren and Marcelo had different ideas of how they wanted this photo to look. Can you guess who wanted what?!?
I was so honored to shoot Dean & Kesha’s Mint Springs Farm wedding. Kesha is one of the extremely talented wedding planners at Mint Springs Farm and it was so fun to see her on the other side of things! One of the highlights was seeing Dallas & Danielle from Dallas Wilson Video Productions, surprise Kesha by showing up to capture her special day. She was blown away! We were so blessed with amazing weather, which finished with a stunning sunset! It really was the perfect night for an amazing couple!
Greg and I had the opportunity to capture Jon and Susan’s engagement photos up in the Smokey Mountains. It was cold and somewhat misty out which was initially uncomfortable but definitely made for some great shots. Their wedding day, on the other hand, was quite the opposite. It was clear, warm, and sunny. They both looked great and Mint Springs Farm was as picturesque as ever! It was such a fun day from beginning to end from the bridal party keeping things entertaining all the way to the reception which was pretty much a party. There were some unforgettable dances/dance moves going down (you know who you are…if fact, I was threatened by someone who begged me not to post a photo of a hilarious moment that was captured.) I felt like everyone was smiling all day which is how it should be in my opinion.
Jon and Susan, you guys are awesome and we had so much fun working with you guys. It was a privilege. Thanks again.
Now lets relive that day…enjoy….
I am so excited that I can finally share some of Kristy’s bridal photos that I took back in May! Jess and I had an amazing time yesterday photographing her and Brad’s Mint Springs Farm wedding. For the Bridal session we had such perfect weather and Kristy looked absolutely stunning. Enjoy!
Greg and I had so much fun shooting Mason and Rachel’s wedding. We first met Rachel at a Mint Springs Farm tasting where we quickly learned that this girl is full of personality and absolutely LOVES her dog. Greg and I also have dogs, so we can’t blame her for her loving obsession…we’re right there with her. We were able to get to know her a little bit that night and learn a little about her and Mason’s story. We laughed a lot which only continued on the wedding day. It was a beautiful, hot, summer day which made for a perfect setting for photos. Their wedding was at Mint Springs Farm which has to be one of the most breathtaking venues I’ve ever seen. That night also had a GORGEOUS sunset which Greg and I always get so excited about. We were able to work with 2 amazing videographers, a brother and sister duo, in Dallas and Danielle Wilson from Dallas Wilson Video Productions. From the beginning of the day where everyone was getting ready, all the way to the reception…it was fun. We feel honored that Mason and Rachel chose us to capture one of the most important days of their lives. So, from the bottom of our hearts Mason and Rachel…thank you!
